Life with a saxophone
Music can’t be locked into categories; the joy of playing even less so: Whether outdoors surrounded by nature, within church walls, in the pulsating big city... every place, every mood has its own rhythm and resonates with its own harmony of the moment. With my saxophone, I try to immerse myself in that harmony, to make it palpable and audible. Sometimes I become a part of it, other times I fight against it, but I am never passive.
“Never before have compositions moved me in the way I have experienced with the score for DRAWING AGAINST OBLIVION.”
David Kunac (producer, “Drawing Against Oblivion,” Munich)
